Los Regios totally won us over today with their food, staff and service! It was our first time there and I’m already a regular!
My family of 4 had the itch for something new so we drove up to Ashland to check this place out. We learned about it from some posts we saw on TikTok & Instagram.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly faces that seemed genuinely happy that we were there. The young man at the counter walked us through the ordering process and made solid recommendations for us all. We all got the tacos. My wife and daughter decided on the steak tacos, my son with chicken, and I got the queso birilla & beef tongue (lengua) tacos.
We shopped while we waited for our order, got some things from the store and sat outside on the picnic table. Our orders were ready in 10 minutes tops! They came out fresh, hot & delicious!
Each order came with 3 street sized tacos (and it’s ok to mix & match). Mine came with several sauces, grilled onions, a cup of consumé and a grilled hot pepper on the side. Each order was about $13.50.
I’m telling you all, these tacos were out of this world! The queso was delicious, but my favorite was definitely the beef tongue.
We all bought cold drinks and I got a big bag of plantain chips from the store to go with our lunch. And afterwards we got some authentic ice cream bars & dessert.
The food was amazing, but what really sold me was the friendliness of everyone there. My kids were asking questions about the authentic produce, and products they had never seen before. And the lady that was hanging out with us was enthusiastic about answering their questions and chatting with us.
It’s a really cool place with excellent food, authentic goods and ran by friendly folks. 10/10 would definitely recommend and I can’t wait to go back!

Sin duda, el lugar ideal si buscas una piñata personalizada, unos tacos de quesabirria con rabo de res que se deshacen en la boca, o simplemente algo delicioso para probar. Las paletas heladas de fruta están súper frescas, y la panadería… ¡peligrosa pero irresistible! Los dueños son auténticos y muy amables, y todo el ambiente refleja esa calidez. Si estás en la zona o necesitas una piñata, este mercado es una joya escondida que tienes que visitar sí o sí.

Do yourself a favor and get yourself a couple of pounds of their beef. You can ask them to season it for you so that you can throw it right on the grill. BEST FAJITAS OF YOUR LIFE. Remember to slice against the grain. You’re welcome. ❤️
